Topwave Termination Load is a device used to simulate an electrical load during testing. In an RF System a dummy load is used to simulate an antenna. By using a dummy load instead of an actual antenna, the transceiver can be tested and configured without radiating radio waves. It is a device used to simulate an electrical load, usually for testing purposes.
Topwave model TPW-T25-4-NEX10M, a 500 watt DC-4GHz RF load. RF Termination Load is used in a wide variety of measurement systems; any port of a multi-port microwave device that is not involved in the measurement should be terminated in its characteristic impedance in order to ensure an accurate measurement.
