A termination load is a one-port device with an impedance that matches the characteristic impedance of a given transmission line. Matched loads provide a termination designed to absorb all the incident power with very little reflection, effectively terminating the line or port in its characteristic impedance.Topwave model TPW-T15-12-NM, a 15 watt DC-12.4GHz RF load with N male connector. 15W RF Termination Load is used in a wide variety of measurement systems; any port of a multi-port microwave device that is not involved in the measurement should be terminated in its characteristic impedance in order to ensure an accurate measurement.
